To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc. Awarded $20,000 Grant to Support Medical Care for Foster Dogs
To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc. (TLC) today announced that it has received a grant of $20,000 from the Foxwynd Foundation through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) for medical expenses of the foster dogs at TLC. This funding will enable TLC to help 40 dogs receive life-saving heartworm treatment and four dogs receive orthopedic procedures, helping to provide the care necessary to improve the quality of life for these dogs and their future adopters.
Brandywine Valley Active Aging Receives Kick-Off Grant to Improve Nutritional Outcomes for Older Adults
Brandywine Valley Active Aging (BVAA) is excited to announce new grant funding to expand their work in improving nutritional outcomes for older adults. The $49,000 investment from the Foxwynd Foundation will be leveraged to secure additional private funding allowing BVAA to create a new full-time position, Director of Food Security. The Foxwynd Foundation DAF funded the Foxwynd Foundation’s generous donation to Brandywine Valley Active Aging.
Local Street Outreach Program Receives Award
New Visions Homeless Services (NVHS) is honored to announce that it has received a grant from the Foxwynd Foundation for $25,000. This grant will help NVHS to offer Street Outreach services including basic necessities, food stability, case management, and housing assessments and connections for individuals experiencing street-level homelessness in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska.

Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue (LCR) has an incredible opportunity to double their impact as they serve animals in need. The Foxwynd Foundation’s Donor Advised Fund has generously approved a $35,000 matching grant to support lifesaving medical care. Every dollar donated on or around Giving Tuesday will be matched, up to $35,000, creating a potential $70,000 fund dedicated to saving more lives. Thistle Hills provides a two-year residential program for Survivors of trafficking and addiction, focusing on holistic healing and offering resources to help them transform their lives and integrate into the community fabric.

This support will allow Fighting Back to continue its vital work in helping individuals recover and regain independence after life-altering injuries, illnesses, and disabilities. The grant will support the program’s mission of providing adapted fitness training to those who are courageously fighting back after life-altering injuries, illnesses, and disabilities and seeking to rebuild their strength, mobility, and confidence.
The Bridge Academy and Community Center Receives $25,000 Grant to Support Community WEALTH Initiative
The Bridge Academy and Community Center is proud to announce it has been awarded a $25,000 grant from The Foxwynd Foundation. This generous grant will help fund The Bridge’s Community WEALTH Initiative, a comprehensive program designed to provide support for individuals and families facing challenges such as housing instability, food insecurity, and mental health needs. The Community WEALTH Initiative (Wellness, Education, Autonomy, Leadership, Therapy, Health) provides vital resources to the Coatesville community, including food and household items, rental and utilities assistance, therapy, and financial literacy training. In addition to immediate interventions, the program emphasizes preventive care and leadership development to equip participants with the tools they need to thrive in difficult circumstances.
Trellis for Tomorrow Receives $25,000 Grant Award
Trellis for Tomorrow is honored to partner with the Foxwynd Foundation and is grateful to receive a $25,000 grant award. This funding, provided through the Foxwynd Foundation’s Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), will be used to support Trellis’ SEED Skills program. Trellis will commit all financial gifts donated to the annual campaign, from now until the end of the year, to match this support, bringing exponential impact to the grant award and the SEED Skills Program.
Safe Passage Heals Awarded Grant from Foundation
Safe Passage, a nonprofit organization serving southern California, is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic abuse. The Foxwynd Foundation DAF funded the Foxwynd Foundation’s generous donation to Women Crowned in Glory/Safe Passage Heals for $31,200. These funds will be used to empower and heal women and their children and progress the mission of Safe Passage. For 34 years, Safe Passage has empowered women to break the cycle of domestic abuse by enabling them to live new, safe and productive lives. They take a holistic approach to healing bodies, souls and minds to transform their lives. To date Safe Passage Heals has come alongside over 2,400 women and children.
Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research Receives Grant
Autumn Reiter, Executive Director of Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, Inc. is pleased to announce that Tri-State is the recipient of a grant for $8,000 through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) at the Foxwynd Foundation. Foxwynd’s mission is to “act as a lifeline for communities in need, enhancing access to fundamental pillars of human dignity and potential such as healthcare, housing, and sustainable environmental initiatives.”
Mom’s House of Phoenixville is Proud to Partner with Foundation
A grant in the amount of $37,500 was distributed through a Donor-Advised Fund of the Foxwynd Foundation to Mom’s House in Phoenixville. Mom’s House provides free, state licensed childcare to low-income, single parents so they can complete their education. In early 2024, Mom’s House moved to a larger facility and can accept almost double the number of children into our program. This generous grant will assist with construction costs, outfitting an additional classroom and construction of a new commercial playground. This partnership with the Foxwynd Foundation will help Mom’s House continue to remove the barrier of affordable childcare for low-income parents that are achieving their educational goals.
The Combined Campaign for Justice (CCJ) is Honored to Announce New Partnership
Thanks to our partners at the Foxwynd Foundation, every NEW, RENEWED, or INCREASED donation made to CCJ before 11:59 p.m. on December 20, 2024, will now be matched up to $150,000. Donors can double their impact and help CCJ reach its 2024 fundraising goal of $2.0 million which will result in 25% more direct impact on the lives of legal aid clients.

Grant to Support PWC's Home Repairs & Modifications Program
People Working Cooperatively received $30,000 from the Foxwynd Foundation which supports health care, housing and sustainable environmental initiatives. The grant will help PWC's Home Repairs and Modifications Program, in which skilled tradespeople address problems such as plumbing and roof issues. The programs also assists with mobility issues by installing ramps, chair and stair lifts, and more for clients that can't afford them.
Surrey Services for Seniors is Thrilled to Announce it has Received a $30,000 Grant
Grant funds have enabled Surrey to “meet seniors where they are” by providing free dental care to low-income seniors at Surrey’s Broomall center. The center offers subsidized programs, activities, hot lunches, social connection, and opportunities to volunteer. It is a place where seniors can find resources, community, and connection.

The grant supports our mission of creating partnerships between individuals with chronic illnesses and college students. It will expand our services in our current chapters, strengthen community partnerships, and empower more students through service-learning opportunities.
House of Hope Forges New Partnership with Foxwynd Foundation
Half of the funds received will help House of Hope procure perishable items for its pantries and food bank partners. The other half of the grant will be used to support the operations of the Growing Hope production farm in Palm City, where greenhouses, orchards, and a packing house enable House of Hope to grow fresh produce for its Client Choice pantries and food bank partners. At peak production, the farm is now producing well over 1,500 packages of fresh produce weekly.
Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership Will Help More Trees to Survive and Reduce Pollution
Newly-planted trees along Pennsylvania streams will live longer, grow stronger, and have a better chance to clean and protect local waters, thanks to a grant by the Foxwynd Foundation of Chester County to the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership. The partnership is coordinated by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF).
